LUMINA Water & Sky Lantern Festival takes place at Subic Bay Boardwalk on Saturday, December 19, 2026. Gates open at 3:00 PM. Enjoy the festival village, performances, biodegradable water lantern ceremony, tethered LED sky lantern display, and Grand Fireworks Finale.

Every ticket includes access to the all-out LUMINA Festival experience: Sky Lanterns, Water Lanterns, Fireworks Display, Magical Kids' Show, Guest Artist and Saxophone Performances, Art & Retail Booths, Activity & Game Booths, Cocktail & Beer Booths, Photo Booths, and Food Booths. The lantern kit included depends on your selected pass.

Yes. LUMINA proudly holds the official Guinness World Records® title for the Largest Display of Water Lanterns, earning global recognition as one of the world's most unforgettable water lantern festivals.

Absolutely. Water lanterns use biodegradable materials and are collected by our Retrieval Team after the ceremony. Sky lanterns are tethered and LED-lit, with no open fire and no uncontrolled release. All guests are encouraged to support the Anti-Littering Drive, War on Waste Campaign, and Clean-As-You-Go (CLAYGO) Policy throughout the festival.

Yes! LUMINA is a family-friendly Christmas celebration designed for guests of all ages. Children can enjoy Face Painting, Christmas Games, Interactive Activities, a Magical Kids' Show, and the festive Christmas Village before joining the Lantern Ceremony with their families.

Children 1 year old and below enter FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. Children 2 years old and above require a regular admission ticket.

Light rain adds to the magic, so the festival will proceed as scheduled. Raincoats and umbrellas will be available for purchase for guests who may need them. In the event of severe weather or conditions that may affect public safety, LUMINA will announce a new event date. All valid tickets will automatically be honored on the rescheduled date at no additional cost and without the need for rebooking.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for baby food, medically necessary items, or special dietary requirements. A wide variety of food and beverage vendors will be available throughout the festival.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear, since the festival is held outdoors by the bay.

Yes. Tickets may be available at the gate, subject to availability. However, we highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance, as LUMINA tickets typically sell out quickly.
